About Liv

Heyo! I'm Liv. I'm an Appalachian-bred songwriter and musician living in the heart of North Carolina. When I'm not writing music, I am photographing weddings, leading worship at my local church, spending time with my family up north, hosting friends for game nights, going on long "talk-walks" with Jesus through the woods, and eating good food (and I mean really good). I stumbled into songwriting in a painful season of loss and have found comfort in using it as a tool to make sense of the various griefs, gifts, and paradoxes of life. I explore these themes in my first EP, "Doubter/Friend" (2020), and my upcoming full-length album "Good Grief" (2022). I look forward to continuing to write and release music as I reflect on faith, love, and life. Hopefully we can journey together. I am honored that you're here!
